In honor of the legacy and work of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the Improvement League of Plant City, in partnership with Hillsborough Community College Plant City Campus, presents the Annual Plant City Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Leadership Breakfast Sunday January 15, 2023, at 7:30 a.m. in Trinkle Center, 106 Park Road, Plant City, Florida.

The Plant City MLK Leadership Breakfast is an opportunity to celebrate Dr. King’s legacy of service and be inspired to live out his dream today in our homes, the community and throughout the world. Over 350 Dignitaries, local business & faith based leaders and residents gather to celebrate Plant City's progress towards equality for all citizens.

Our keynote speaker is Mr. Otis Cliatt III, FAMU Board of Trustees and President of Pacific Railroad. The program will be lead by our Mistress of Ceremony Ms. Deanne King, News Reporter WFLA NBC.

We also recognize our local Community Champions whose actions reflect the highest standard, integrity and willingness to "serve" others through the E.J. Marshall Hall of Fame Selection, Jerry Bailey President's Award, Sadye Gibbs Martin Community Service Award, E.L. Bing Educator of the Year, and MLK Leadership Award. High school recipients will be presented with college scholarship and of course the breakfast is catered by the famous Steph’s Southern Soul Food Restaurant.
